We took a tour with Cambodia Travel Trails from Bangkok to Angkor Wat. Mr. Sophoan orchestrated a hotel pick-up, transportation and border crossing along with a guided tour. The guides and drivers that I interacted with were great! The scenery was incredible & the history is mind blowing. The day of our tour, there was a minor mishap that derailed us for a short time. Mr. Sophoan was in the United States at the time and responded to my texts nearly instantaneously and got us back on track to the best of his abilities. You can tell how much they care about these sites and their guests’ experience. I would highly recommend this tour if you are visiting Bangkok and looking to go to Angkor Wat for the day!

Excellent 2 Day / 1 Night tour from Siem Reap - Preah Vihear - Kampong Svay - Siem Reap
After many years of repeated excellent service from Mr Sophoan (who was not available for this visit), upon his recommendation we enjoyed a similarly excellent two day tour experience with his colleague, Mr Kim.
After much research, we requested a circular tour starting from Siem Reap to the Preah Vihear Temple and (after an overnight stay in Preah Vihear) onto Kampong Svay Temple, returning to Siem Reap.
Mr Kim provided an excellent and very comfortable service for two days of driving considerable distances, and was very engaging and very pleasant to travel with. Kim's suggested stops at Anlong Veng and at a HUGE rubber tree plantation near Kampong Svay were well-received, and we appreciated Kim's knowledge of the "main" Temple's we visited. He is informative, but allows you to explore and take in the sights at your own pace, and willing provides great photography skills.
We must commend him on his excellent driving skills over distances and roads that can be very challenging (dodging potholes, livestock, tractors etc) which made the two day tour very comfortable, without a moment of anxiety (unlike other drivers in Cambodia!) Further, we appreciated Kim's willingness to arrange numerous aspects of the tour, including buying fresh fruit, arranging transport and tickets at Temples, and generally his advice on daily life in (very) rural northern Cambodia. To top it all off - he is very punctual, and takes pride in his appearance and the condition of his excellent Lexus truck.
We would certainly recommend Kim's services for anyone seeking a very comfortable and enjoyable tour experience in Cambodia.
