Perfect in every way!

From the moment Tuna, our driver, and our guide, Poan, picked up us at the airport, they made sure we all had the most memorable experience of our life. Cambodia is breathtaking, and the kindness, knowledge and resourcefulness the company offers is more than anyone can hope for. They were recommended by friends from the US, Cambodia, Singapore and Brazil. I hope to return to cambodia and see Poan again! Highly recommend.

Bangkok to Siem Reap and Back!

This tour group made everything so easy and gave such an excellent tour of Angkor Wat. They help you across the Thailand/Cambodia border and make every part of it a breeze. The actual tour of the ruins was also very enjoyable. If you are staying in Bangkok, I highly recommend them as a way to see Angkor Wat.

Angkor Wat - one day tour!

My wife and I had a great experience with Sophoan and the tour that we took. This was the most well organized tour that I have been on, everything was as described and the experience was outstanding. I highly recommend this tour. We did a one day tour out of Bangkok. The driver picked us up at 3am and we were at Angkor Wat by 9 am, stayed until about 5pm, had dinner in Siem Reap, then returned to Bangkok. Sophoan is very knowledgeable and thoroughly explained everything that we were seeing. We visited multiple sites, making the trip that much better. If I had visited without a guide, I would have been wandering aimlessly and would not have received the vast amount of information specifically geared to what I was seeing. If you are reading guidebooks and trying to guide yourself, you spend a certain amount of time just getting acclimated to the site and location. You do not have that luxury with a one day trip. This trip was the highlight of my trip to Thailand and Singapore. If I return, I will definitely contact Sophoan and his company for another tour and spend additional time in Sien Reap.

Best Option

Our tour of Angkor Wat was amazing! Sophoan Rath was so friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. We loved every moment and the historical context provided by Sophoan made it all the more awe inspiring. We were picked up from our hotel in Bangkok and after returned to airport back in Thailand. The transfers and boarder crossing were a breeze too with the help of Sok and our Thai and Cambodian drivers, without their help this would have been much more difficult. We were looked after every step of the way. The vehicles were comfortable and air conditioned and they provided all the bottled water we could need. As well as tours within the temples, Sophoan also took care of getting our temple passes and the transport between the temples. We were able to tailor our itinerary to suit us and include extra days and the driver was happy to pull over if we saw something we wanted to see closer. We also visited the beautiful floating village on Tonlé Sap. Sophoan showed us the best local restaurants in town and the best spots for photos in all the temples. He was so helpful and took excellent photos of us at the temples which looks better than a selfie stick. We have made a friend for life with Sophoan and we highly recommend this tour to one of the worlds greatest heritage sites.

Magical tour and wonderful guide!

We really researched guides/tours for visiting Angkor Wat, as we were staying in Bangkok and knew it would be a long and complicated day. After finding Sophoan Rath and his reviews we felt like we would be in good hands. Indeed we were! Phoan arranged our drivers, border crossings, and visits to the sites. He is a wonderful gentleman with a deep knowledge and love of this area and the sites of Angkor Wat. He speaks excellent English and could answer all questions we asked. We felt like we not only had a magical day but met a man we would never forget. Excellent excursion, guide and drivers! Thank you, Phoan, for a wonderful memory.
